Solidarity Academy 2006 was held in Gdańsk in the seat of Independent Self-governing Trade Union "Solidarity”. Lectures were given by: Dariusz Karlowicz, Marek Rymsza, Jan Kulas.

The seminar was divided into 2 thematic parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part was devoted to history and idea of the Solidarity Movement. The participants of the August events took a walk down memory lane.

The topic of the second part was devoted to practice of the Solidarity. Different NGOs presented, how they implement the idea of Solidarity in everyday life.
